I am inspired by all things worn and weathered, especially wood, whether standing snags or gorgeous old fence posts. This mature summer pasture was the perfect backdrop, allowing the fence posts to be the focus of the painting.
Chilcotin Summer was juried into the Federation of Canadian Artist’s The Nature Trust of British Columbia Artist of the Year Award and Exhibition 2021.
