This painting holds a special place in my heart as A Little Piece of Paradise was a gift for my son-in-law, an avid fisherman. Little Niagra Falls is on Quesnel Lake, one of his favourite lakes in the interior of British Columbia and close to home. This is also the first piece I painted after deciding to “quit my day job” and chase my dream of becoming a full-time artist.
A Little Piece of Paradise was juried into the Federation of Canadian Artist’s 2021 online exhibition, Water.
