10″ x 10″ Acrylic on Canvas SOLD
A summer hike into Cameron Ridge in 2020 was the inspiration for this piece. Although we were there on a cloudy day and home before sundown, I couldn’t resist glazing a little colour into the sky resulting in a change in the mood of the entire piece. The alpine meadow still held a few blooms with views of the north arm of Quesnel Lake reflecting the colours of the sky in the background. This piece was also inspired by and donated to Helping HeARTS – a Christmas 2022 fundraiser for the Ukrainian families who relocated to Quesnel. A big thank you to Maureen Hobbs Wheeler for organizing the fundraiser!
