In the late summer of 2018, Dr. Pauline Thomas posted an amazing alpine scene on Instagram from the Hermit Trail in Glacier National Park. The photo was beautiful and incredibly inspiring to me with a summer blue sky, soaring mountain peaks, waterfalls, and gorgeous alpine flowers. Finding myself with actual time to tackle something larger in the spring of 2020, Dr. Thomas graciously granted me permission to put this amazing scene on canvas and this was the end result.
