Have you ever happened upon a scenic vista that caused an overwhelming rush of emotion to wash over you? When hiking up Wilcox Pass to fully experience the panoramic view of the Columbia Icefield, I was moved to tears with every glance. The sun on my face and the warm wind in my hair made this hike all the sweeter. I could not take my eyes off of the amazing scenery before me and took several reference photos for the painting I knew I would eventually make.
