Morning Glory

I find I am often inspired by the sights and sounds I encounter while walking on forest trails. Occasionally I am fortunate enough to capture nature at its finest with stunning displays in light and shadow. I had such an experience while walking one fall at Little Qualicum Falls on Vancouver Island. The morning sun was boldly breaking through the forest, casting shadows across the forest floor that continued up the trunks of moss covered trees. A single glance of this scene and I knew that I would put it on canvas.
